SolderClean

Effective cleaning for printed circuit boards

SolderClean has been specially formulated to clean copper and tin surfaces at an atomic scale. The liquid strips away contaminants and metallic compounds, such as oxides, and dissolves them effectively so that non-metallic residues are easily removed. This leaves clean, bright native metal behind that both looks better and is easy to solder to. SolderClean contains only environmentally safe active ingredients so the liquid is benign to the environment and can be safely disposed of in public drainage systems. SolderClean is RoHS compliant and can be used in both leaded and lead-free solder processes.

SolderClean is useful for a number of applications:

Clean copper or solder pads on PCBs prior to manual or wave soldering

Clean PCBs prior to reflow soldering

Clean PCBs after reflow soldering to remove oxide buildup

SolderClean can also be used to clean contacts in relays, power supplies, transformers etc
